Welcome to the Woodstown Tavern!

The Woodstown Tavern & Hotel was built in 1836 by Jacob B. Keely, Then known as the Washington House, the hotel was a regular stage coach stop between Woodstown and Penns Grove where travelers could catch the ferry to points north including Philadelphia.

The Borough of Woodstown was established on July 26, 1882 ans waa named for early settler Jackanias Wood.
